A student’s life is all about discover, exploration – using all the faculties to understand his or her environment. We at Meridian school believe and strive to leave no stone unturned in the path of discovery for our students.
Every year multiple excursions and expeditions are organized as part of the academic calendar. This exposure is meant to be a healthy mix of fun and learning for the students. A happy bunch of students and teachers undertake intercity travels and come back totally enriched with wide and varied experiences.
This helps in not only opening up the students’ personality but develops an interesting perspective towards life for them.
Student exchange programs and collaborations are also undertaken. Many cultural exchange activities happen with students from across the world. Symposiums, class room discussions are conducted as well using virtual platforms.
Creative activities
Meridian school centres around the philosophy of bringing out the best in students by giving them opportunity to explore different areas of their respective personalities.
Creative pursuits are one such way to let the child understand his or her interests and strengths. We provide a wide range of platforms like music, sculpture, pottery, dance, gymnastics, origami, art, craft etc to the students for this. Each student has a kaleidoscope to choose from and work on his or her creative instincts.
We also believe in catching them young. Therefore, right from our tiny tots at pre primary creative activities are imbibed in our pedagogy.
Children not only get exposed to various art forms, they also help the teacher assess and develop their creative interests.
As they progress to primary school, they undertake focused creative activities and build upon them through their middle and secondary schools.
