Bagless Days

The concept of 10 bagless days in schools is a fun-filled way of introducing vocational education right from the school level. The NEP 2020 proposes exposing at least 50% of learners to vocational education and vocational subjects. This is to attract the students and sensitise them to the workplace through engaging in activities involving the head, hand, and heart.

And what a way to launch it in Meridian School Kukatpally!!

For grade 6-8, Bagless Day started with a Big Bang….students experienced a plethora of skill training.

The following activities were taken up :

   * Stitching

   * Chocolate making and candle making

   * Maintenance and hygiene

   * First Aid

   * Painting

   * Cooking

   * Gardening and flower arrangement

   * Lab and Library management

   * Digital awareness

This concept is a part of NEP 2020 and was launched in Meridian School Kukatpally under the able guidance of our Principal Mrs Aakrusha Bellaney supported enthusiastically by the coordinators and teachers.
