“The youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow.”
Any society’s future depends on the thoughts and actions of its youth. Schools have a very important and relevant role in developing the citizens of tomorrow.
The foundation of leadership and exemplary behaviour is laid by two important social units – family and school.
We at Meridian take this responsibility of ours very seriously. As they say, catch them young, we develop leadership qualities in our students by giving them important responsibilities and duties.
By means of student council, they learn to handle positions of importance and carry out duties at a very young age.
Our student councils are not appointed but elected – by a very democratic process.
Children also learn the whole gamut of the election process while forming the student council.
It indeed gives them a good learning as well as a taste of being a part of the biggest electorate in the world.
